Unable To Fix It (SolluxXReader)

    It was never enough for your matesprit, you cleaned,cooked, went and even fixed the hacker's codes so they were perfect when he would pass out, but all he would do is treat you as if you were his maid. You were almost glad you had never pailed with Sollux especially when you walked into his hive and found him pailing with that sew-dweller Feferi. At first tears ran down your face as he threw his clothes on and started to yell at you for just barging in, then you felt anger since you had lived here for almost a sweep with him and then you felt rage. This rage came from Feferi looking at Sollux and asking him what you were doing in hi hive since you two were just morails. Cue rabid attack and you screaming at the idiot sea-dweller that you were his matesprit. Feferi just smirked, she actually smirked, and said something so simple yet destructive 'Why would he want a human for a matesprit when he could have a highblood?'. Thats when you broke inside, you punched Sollux in the face, hearing a satisfying crack as his nose broke, and threw you phone at Feferi before running out of the hive and to Karkat's.

    You arrived at Karkat's humble hive and knocked, barely a second passing before a tired and annoyed Karkat opened the door and stared down at your tear stained face as you clenched your bloody hand to your chest.

    "Shit ____, what in the ever loving fuck happened to you?" He ushered you into his hive and made you sit on his couch before running off to get some bandages for your hand. You then told him what had happened, the stinging of your hand nothing compared to how painful your heart felt.

    "He... he never cared for me did he Karkat...?" He sighed and handed you a tissue to wipe your face with before sitting beside you and pulling you close in a hug.

    "Sollux is an ass hat, ___. He's almost two people in one body, I guess is the easiest way to explain it. Hell I'm the closest thing that fucking nook sniffer has to a friend and we can barely stand each other. Even his and Feferi's relationship is fucked because it's only fucking physical while you and Sollux... You compete with him mentally, and youre always there for the nook sniffer emotionally but you said that you never pailed with him so a part of him wasn't satisfied. I've seen matesprit ships fall apart on a lot less. But as much as it fucking hurts to say it, you're the perfect fucking matesprit for that stupid hacker." You sighed and stared at the floor of Karkat's living room before looking back up at his grey-red eyes.

    "So it's my fault?" He groaned and face palmed before shaking his head.

    "No it's both of your fucking faults, his for not telling you how he was fucking feeling then cheating on you with Feferi and yours for not making it harder to win your red feelings.

    "Karkat?"

    "What is it nook sniffer?"

    "Can I borrow your computer and mess up Sollux's by coding the shit out of him?" Karkat laughed and patted your head.

    "Sure nook sniffer just let me watch." You nodded smiling back at your friend and then proceeded to start coding. You ignored Karkat as he stared at you, his eyes wide and mouth hanging to the floor, as you coded faster than you knew sollux and Karkat could. You chuckled as you sent the virus to Sollux using Karkat's trollian and just sat back waiting for the fireworks.

    You fucked up. You just... ugh! WHen it came to ____ you always did something wrong and now you had just watched your matesprit run out of your hive. You had throughout Feferi right after and tried to troll anyone who you thought ____ would have gone to.

    "I'm tho fucked!" You growled and slammed your fist on your desk when you got pestered by Karkat sending you a code he needed help on. You smiled and laughed, that prideful asshole coming out as you read the little note attached to the file.

    '____ FUCKED UP MY FILE! FIX IT!!!'

    "Well at leatht Karkat ith tharting to thee I'm the betht hacker in all the land." You opened the file and all color drained out of your face when your computer went (f/c). 'You Fucked Up' repeated in an annoying flashing motion and a small not appeared at the bottom of your screen.

    'Loved you, now I hate you, Can't say I didn't see it coming.' You slammed your forehead on the desk as you felt yellow tears prickle at the edges of your eyes. Yep you fucked up and unlike a computer problem, you had no idea how to fix it.
